The Raptor Run is MICS's premiere fundraising event.
The Raptor Run is a premiere annual event hosted and run by our tireless and wonderful volunteers. Each year kids work hard to accept pledges from families and community members during the fall culminating into an exciting event for the kids on the beautiful MICS campus.
Raptor Run 2026 is here and we are ready to celebrate!
Proceeds raised will directly support our students and teachers by funding our elementary school athletics expansion, updating our classroom projectors, supporting teachers with purchasing classroom supplies for the beginning of the year, launching our new Soar Generosity in Action Grants program, and assisting with facility maintenance costs, which include a Multisport Stadium track resurfacing project.

Our mission is to help MICS be the best school it can be
Charter schools do not receive capital (facility) dollars as part of their per pupil funding, thus MICS students are funded less on average than a typical public school. Our school relies on the community for make up for this gap in support. Rather than fundraising large sums of money over many years, our founding families pledged capital to The Soar foundation, allowing us to secure $31.5 Million in funding which built the beautiful campus that you see today.
